About Me

I'm Mexican, grew up watching telenovelas, learning to make decent tacos, and disappointing my ancestors by not having 5 kids before turning 24. Instead, I wasted my youth obsessing over computers, algorithms, and models that don't converge on the first try.

Education and Experience

I have a bachelor's degree in Machine Learning and I'm currently building an ML-powered app to support people with eating disorders. I'm especially interested in how to use artificial intelligence responsibly and ethically, particularly in sensitive contexts like mental health.

What I'm doing now

• Building an ML-based app focused on support and education around eating disorders
• Designing and training models, having friendly fights with imperfect datasets—or crying because I don't even have the data ready
• Constantly learning about systems, models, and how not to over-engineer everything (still a work in progress)
